Irma G. Ruiz

Irma G. Ruiz, is a Certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She began her career in health care by working as an emergency Registered Nurse at Honor Health in Phoenix, Arizona. She has over 11 years of experience in various areas of patient care (emergency room nurse, nurse auditor, and nurse practitioner).  In addition to her extensive clinical experience, Irma also has an outstanding academic background including Bachelors of Science in Accounting from Western International University and Masters Business Administration along with Bachelors of Science and Masters of Science in Nursing from Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Arizona.

During her tenure as a Registered Nurse, Irma participated with other health care professionals in caring for patients and addressing the patients and families’ healthcare needs. In order to feel better equipped to address these needs in her work with patients, Irma completed a second Master’s degree in healthcare by obtaining her Masters of Science degree in Nursing at Grand Canyon University in 2015.

In addition to healthcare, Irma also has an appreciation for beauty and obtained her certification as an Aesthetician from the Institute for Medical Aesthetics in 2007. She utilizes injectables and fillers such as Botox and Juvederm to reduce signs of aging of the face according to the unique needs and goals of each patient.

Irma’s combination of clinical education and experience in management provide a strong academic foundation needed for good patient care. She has a unique combination of strong nursing skills and strives to provide the best health care possible. Her beliefs are to build long lasting and trusting relationships with patients and families. She strives to acquire a comprehensive evaluation of every patient by taking time to listen, understand and work with patients to meet their particular needs.

Her true desire is to enhance a positive healing experience by providing a benevolent approach to those in need.
